2010-04-26 13:48:26   Anybody notice the Flying Pirates airlines [WWW]large set of new wikis? The user account keeps changing, and while I'm not 100% sure it's not a case of confusion, the fact that the new accounts have to have distinct email addresses makes me lean heavily toward hijinks, possibly trying to promote the Facebook account linked in some of them. I do not have a Facebook account. Can somebody who does do some respectful outreach and determine the situation? The [WWW]account is here.

Bummer — I actually liked the concept (educating people about regulations transporting historical weaponry, something I've had to do several times). —JabberWokky

Hello Suradha Pv!

There are several new wikis with duplicated content on wikispot which refer to your facebook account. I'm assuming they were created by you. Is there a reason you need more than one wiki with this content? While wikispot loves helping people get their wiki needs met, it won't put up with abuse. Can you explain what you are trying to accomplish? Please see Jabberwokky's comment on [WWW]http://wikispot.org/abuse/talk, and respond there so the community can see the discussion. Thanks,

Ed Henn

2010-09-30 14:31:45   Last night, 23 new wikis were formed specifically for the purposes of SEO spam. If this keeps up, I won't be able to (keep up). We need to start thinking of alternate ways of controlling this. I'm ticked enough to start calling these companies and threatening C&Ds so that if they repeat spam, they will be subject to criminal computer trespass. Probably not the best way to stop the problem, but did I mention I'm ticked? :) —JabberWokky
