Hello! You're probably reading this wondering why this link popped up in your new wiki. You have accidentally made a fairly common mistake, but just take a moment to read through this entire page and we'll try to make things clear for you.
First off, welcome to Wiki Spot — we're happy to have you create your wiki here! A wiki is a collection of a bunch of entries, just as a book is a collection of a bunch of pages. Right now you are reading the "hub wiki": the main index to all the other wikis. It's kind of like a reference volume for all the other books. It lives at http://wikispot.org
You have started writing your pages in this reference volume, but you actually want to start your own "book" with a bunch of pages all about a particular subject. That collection is called a "wiki". When you create your own wiki, you will have your own URL (something like http://dogshoes.wikispot.org). It will then have your own title, your own colors and your own graphics across the top of the page (where it says "wikispot" right now). It will start off with a bit of help, but otherwise be empty, allowing you to fill it however you wish.

How do you create a wiki?
Go to the Create a Wiki page to create a wiki.
How do I delete a wiki I created in error?
As the admin of the wiki (the account that created the wiki), click "wiki settings" in the upper right corner under your account name. Then click "General Settings". Check the box that says "Delete this wiki" and save.
Why, when I logged in as a unique user with a password, did I get on this CENTRAL site rather than a site for a specific user?
All accounts work on all wikis. That way, editors can monitor changes to several different communities they participate in, and can edit without having to constantly log out and back in.
How do we get onto our unique wiki site?
When wikis are created, you give them a name (a "shortname"). All wikis are located at <shortname>.wikispot.org. So, for instance, if your wiki is named "volcanoes", you would go to http://volcanoes.wikispot.org. You can use your own domain name, but the short name form will always work.
