2010-06-25 14:45:03   While I don't mind restoring this entry, I do worry that the time between it being edited by well meaning but confused people and somebody else coming along and fixing it may result in some people not to be able to create a wiki. If the entry is locked down, the edit button disappears, which may also make it more likely somebody reads down a paragraph and finds the "create a wiki" form in the first place. While I'm very keen on open editing, this particular page seems to be subject to innocent confusion to the point it is being rendered unusable for a certain percentage of time, which is actually blocking people who are looking to create a new wiki community. Would anybody be opposed to locking it down and simply making an edit group that anybody would be added to upon request? It's a really annoying thing to have to do, but I'm looking at it from a vantage point of trying to make sure people aren't locked out of being able to create their wiki because somebody else accidentally edited this entry thinking it was their new wiki. In other words, making sure the big act (creating a wiki) is always available for people by locking down the small act (editing this one entry). —JabberWokky

2011-03-02 17:33:59   I am trying to create a wiki. When I use the link emailed to me I get the message: Invalid email link. To create a wiki you must follow the link send to your email account.

I saw it more than 30 minutes after it was received. What should I do now?
I tried to start over but received the message:
An email with instructions has been sent to your email address, hjerpe@cal.net. Check your mail!

I wanted to add this comment to the "Create a wiki" page, but didn't see an Edit box or an Add comment box so decided to try this. I am logged in. —SueHjerpe

2011-03-05 16:19:55   Our organization is now defunct, but I don't have the info to disable/take down the wiki. How do I proceed to inactivate the wike and make it unaccessible anymore?

2012-10-19 04:43:11   hi this is sumi. i just opened a new restaurant (INTERNATIONAL BISTRO)in davis and we served fresh squeeze vegetable and fruits juices i.e kale ,spinach, lemon, green apple, pineapple, watermelon, pear etc we use organic vegetables,fruits and we don't put any sugar nor sweetener in it. our vegetables comes straight from Davis farmers market. im giving a free sample of our fresh juices so i would appreciate if you guys can stop by to try our juices. our location is (213 E street suite A 95618 and our restaurant no. 530-231-5247)
