I lurned that there wer only native peeple in the Queznel area before there was a gold rush. The gold rush brot peeple by horses and wagons and the town of Barkerville was big when there was lots of gold. I know that A. McKenzie was the first Uropean to visit the area. The Fraser River was important for the stern boats to bring supplies.
