Notes from our Nov. 30th meeting are as follows:

Jason: Regarding creating a system, it’s best to follow nature. Which is organic, non vertical, don’t try to force the process into a tight streamlined hierarchy, just let it be organic.

Robin: I think we need to be creating organizations that are efficient to go head-to-head with multinatinals who are destroying the environment . My Proposal: let’s find outwhat’s out there & create a “Taiwan sustainability index report”; with or without categories. It would be a bibliography of environmental & social issues about Taiwan.
Objectives: 1) Put Tiawan on the map of environmentalism in the world. To let people know what’s going on in Taiwan; 2) Compile this in Chinese so that locals can learn & utilize it (The problem is that the bulk of int’l environmental information is in English). Eventually we’ll create a zillion jobs for translators.

Jane: I can be the “translator oil”

Neesha: Next meeting tentative date: Saturday, Dec. 13th, 10am-12.
