Howdy, George. Sorry I had to create a hub user entry for you to send this message, but the discussion (without any way to reply) at [climateaudit101]Front_Page/Talk was starting to get speculative, and I did not want you to get some of the core wiki concepts incorrect. Any deleted entry can always be restored (an admin can memory hole content, but no editor ever can). [davis]Davis Wiki has had no real problems with dealing with automated or determined vandals, but does limit editing to editors with accounts, thus keeping them accountable for their actions (disclaimer: I'm an admin there). If you open up your wiki, you'll find [gnome]people willing to assist with experience editing and managing content ready to jump in. Think of them as librarians, they can (and are offering to) help with all the support tasks such as cross indexing and formatting. Several of us have been been shuffling around at the gates of your wiki, wanting to contribute site graphics, help out with questions (like the delete one) and otherwise assist you all. It is your wiki to do with as you wish, and you will eventually get some vandalism if you open it up... but you'll also get a number of people who are skilled at dealing with that vandalism and add to your project in many significant ways. —Evan 'JabberWokky' Edwards, CC'ed to DaveDardinger
