David Scott Yee attended the University of California, Davis for undergraduate and medical school. During medical school, he obtained an MPH from the University of California, Berkeley pursuing his interest in cancer epidemiology and international health. He then completed his residency in urology and is currently doing a one year robotic surgery fellowship at the University of California, Irvine. Next year, he will continue his urologic training as a urologic oncology fellow at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center.

He hopes to return soon to the Davis - Sac area in the not too distant future.

Dr. Yee has been recognized for his research endeavors and has presented at national and international conferences including the American Urological Association (AUA) and the World Congress of Endourology annual meetings. He has been awarded first place for a resident/fellow essay contest at the 2006 Orange County Urological Society meeting and a poster session at the 2005 Western Section American Urological Association meeting. In 2005, Dr. Yee received the AUA/Praecis Scholar award for outstanding resident.

Dr. Yee is a sixth generation Californian with a strong commitment to serving his community. In 2006, he was selected as an International Volunteers in Urology AUA scholar and traveled to Vietnam as a visiting surgeon.
