DisneyLand2005.jpgOne of my favorite pictures of one of my favorite places!

David Grundler, an alumnus of [davis]UC Berkeley (Go Bears!), relocated his family to [davis]Davis in May 2002. In December of 2007, David moved to the [woodland]Spring Lake community of [woodland]Woodland; however, David's Woodland stint was short lived. He relocated his family to [davis]El Macero in July of 2010. David works for [davis]Park, Vaughan, Fleming & Dowler LLP (an intellectual property [davis]law firm) performing patent prosecution, as well as: IT, telephony, and other miscellaneous functions. He is a member of the [davis]Davis Bike Club, and previously served on the board of the [davis]Mad Cows Racing Team.

David is an avid supporter of [davis]March Madness and [davis]Bike Commute Month, and encourages others to pledge what they can.

David is very active in scouting. He serves as the Cubmaster for Pack 132, and is on the committee of Venturing Crew 66 and Troop 466. Additionally, he is the District Vice-Chair for the Yolo District of the Golden Empire Council. He is a Brotherhood member of the Order of the Arrow, and is currently the chapter adviser. David attained the rank of Eagle Scout with Troop 68 of Lancaster, CA.

David enjoys exercising his Second Amendment rights, and is a National Rifle Association Instructor for the Rifle, Pistol, and Shotgun disciplines, as well as a certified Range Safety Officer. Most of his instruction is directed to youth in and out of scouting, and their family members; however, he is always willing to teach anyone with a good attitude and a willingness to learn.

2014-10-26 03:14:44   Good idea. My thinking was actually to note which organizations had sponsored Scouting for any new groups that are looking for sponsorship. Interestingly, I was in the process of looking up my old troop (of which I was a founding member) for the first time in several years to see if they were still around when you messaged me. I have a couple mementos of the early days of the troop that I keep meaning to send them. —JabberWokky

2014-10-27 07:17:02   Thanks, but I was Gulf Stream Council on the other side of the country, and they are not only active, they seem to have a good historian. I'm planning on bringing a small box of items and photos to them when I go back to visit family in Florida. —JabberWokky

2014-10-28 23:45:38   That's priceless! (new MRAP Halloween image). I hope it will reach the news! —ConstantiaOomen

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!
