Hunting
"Hunting Party" 1930-1940
"Most of these people were just lucky enough to live on small farms in the Depression…good gardens, and at that time we had aquired a cow and my brother had a goat…although we had no money, we had the orchard, we had the garden space, and in later years when my brother was old enough to hunt, he brought the odd deer . And we always had cows, chickens, pigeons and rabbits, and we ate them all.” (Walters Collins 2011)
