Hi everyone. I gnome a lot. I'm on Davis Wiki, and a few others.

I currently serve as Chair of the Wiki Spot Board of Directors.

I've submitted a couple of patches to Wiki Spot, but I'm working on being a more active wiki developer.

Actually, it's a lot easier to type. And you ruined my fun of trying to document an undocumented feature. Maybe we could be like perl/python and use backquotes (``string``).

It's easier, but I think it's poor form to have more than one way to do the same thing..

You know, I disagree, but that's because I'm a Perl Programmer.

Try and make it so that when you quick edit a paragraph with an image floated to the left or to the right that it doesn't 'pop' downward and instead sits there all inline-like. 2007-10-21 21:52:13 Added you to the read/write group for board. The wiki is set to be non-readable by default, with all the major pages readable. We should switch it over to be readable by default once we have more content on there that's not just links to incorporation documents. —PhilipNeustrom

2008-04-04 01:39:31 Brent, I'm considering announcing the release of my wiki on a large talk radio station with a link from their web site. There will be 2000-3000 hits in the first hour. Then slowly it will deveolpe to 300-400 new page creations (+edits) per day. Is this a lot? —Develine

2009-06-02 10:19:04 Check out my comment on Front Page/Talk for the rationale for having that list at the top. It's looking toward the "next stage" as Wiki Spot starts having several examples of mature wikis with stable communities. There are several about to or hitting that point. Focusing strongly on one rather than listing several that inspire people to create different types of communities seems limiting. —JabberWokky

It is essential that ChrisGibbon be given mod rights for the Liverpool Wiki. He is the only person we trust to moderate properly and NOT delete content like the vandal Waterways. Please make Chris mod ASAP - keithwyness

2009-10-06 18:22:35 Also, nicely handled with JonLi. He emailed me yesterday, and I haven't had a chance to mail him back. I'll try to get a nice "here are some options". You also might want to point out (just in case he doesn't know) that he can retrieve the text if he doesn't have a fully up to date copy (i.e., if he edited it on the wiki as he pasted it in). Just as a friendly "it's not you, it's just the nature of the subject versus the focus of the work as a whole". —JabberWokky
