Hello! You're probably reading this wondering why this link popped up in your new wiki. You have accidentally made a fairly common mistake, but just take a moment to read through this entire page and we'll try to make things clear for you.
First off, welcome to Wiki Spot — we're happy to have you create your wiki here! A wiki is a collection of a bunch of entries, just as a book is a collection of a bunch of pages. Right now you are reading the "hub wiki": the main index to all the other wikis. It's kind of like a reference volume for all the other books. It lives at http://wikispot.org
You have started writing your pages in this reference volume, but you actually want to start your own "book" with a bunch of pages all about a particular subject. That collection is called a "wiki". When you create your own wiki, you will have your own URL (something like http://dogshoes.wikispot.org). It will then have your own title, your own colors and your own graphics across the top of the page (where it says "wikispot" right now). It will start off with a bit of help, but otherwise be empty, allowing you to fill it however you wish.

2008-12-12 17:54:09 Oh, THERE it is! I feel so silly, but I glossed over that third line a half-dozen times. Thought I was going to get a confirmation email for registering my account, and that THAT would have a "create a wiki" link in it. —EchoNull
