CoWest is a group of people from the north west suburbs who are in the early stages of creating a cohousing community in the NW suburbs of Adelaide South Australia. We are exploring the methods and means of acquiring land, with or without existing buildings, and expanding our numbers so that we can create a cohousing community of 10-25 residences. The ethos of the project will be a cooperative, inclusive community based on private ownership of our residences but with a substantial level of sharing of common spaces and resources while minimising our footprint on the earth.
